The Motorcycle Diaries

Ernesto Che Guevara.
Several years ago, suddenly his name started to come to my mind from time to time.I think I had heard his name somewhere several times.Maybe I felt SOMETHING about him.
I looked up a thick English-Japanese dictionary.It said:"Ernesto'Che'Guevara-a Cuban revolutionist born in Argentina."Hmm...somewhat complicated.
A few years later,I found cool Che Guevara T-shirts at a large bookstore.I bought one of them.It was black and had 8 portraits of him(mustard, green, beige and red)printed at the front.A little like some of Andy Warhol's works. Also printed were these words...maybe Italian:
"in un anno di permanenza al Banco Nacional posso dire di non aver imparato nulla di bancario"
According to a translation site,it means"in a year of permanence to the Nacional Bench I can say not to have learned null of banking".Does it mean"Although I was the president of the National Bank of Cuba,I can't say I really learned about banking"?Maybe they are some of Guevara's famous words.
Anyway,I really liked the T-shirt.It was made in Italy.
And today,I went to see this movie The Motorcycle Diaries. The story of young Ernesto Guevara. The road movie where he and his good friend Alberto travelles through the Continent of South America with their rattletrap motorcycle. They meet so many people.Through the experience,Ernesto,a medical, changes his way of thinking...later to become a revolutionist.
What if a person like him were the President of a Super Power today?

"Isn't she lovely made from love"

It's from Stevie Wonder's Isn't She Lovely.
I especially like this line.In this song Stevie sings about her daughter. And this phrase tells us that she was born because her parents loved each other.Wonderful.
Parents like these would never abuse their children.

Autumn in...

It's getting cooler and cooler in Japan. And Autumn is my most favorite season.
Why?Because...
1.I feel most comfortable in Autumn.
2.Since when I was in high school,Autumn has been the season of romance...for me!!

I remember the Autumn when I was 16.It was the school festival season, too.
At the festival, girls, including me,would know many different aspects of boys. For example,a shy boy would surprise his classmates with his leadership he hadn't shown before.
And then...some kind of chemistry happens between a boy and a girl...or between a boy and many girls?!!!
In my case, the shy boy in the same class who had become a hero through the festival...seemed to have a crush on me because I found him nearby wherever I went. But he would never tell me what he felt about me.After all,it ended before it became a romance...

What about this year?It's secret!!
I hope I can get closer to the heart of the precious one for me.

By the way,I like Autumn in New York that Harry Connick Jr. plays with piano.

All of a sudden...(Introduction)

Well,well,well...
Inspired by a friend of mine, I decided to have an English blog for the first time.(I'm Japanese and have had only Japanese websites)
Anyway,it's exciting to start something new.
The name of this blog Alapadma means "beautiful" in Hindi.
I learned this word at an Indian dance class the other day and I liked it.
